The collection consists of photographs depicting Burton's term as mayor of Cleveland, Ohio, including Works Progress Administration (WPA) projects and the Great Lakes Exposition. Also included are views of the Cleveland Cultural Gardens; individual and group portraits including Harold H. Burton; city vehicles, including police, fire, and sanitation equipment; Kirtland Park pier; city facilities, including pumping stations, fire houses, and incinerators; local statues; and scenes depicting the political campaigns of Harold H.
